About SkyWarn
About The SkyWarn Program:

SkyWarn is a volunteer program with nearly 280,000 trained severe weather spotters. These volunteers help keep their local communities
safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service. .

Becoming SkyWarn Certified:

To get certifed you have to go to a free SkyWarn Spotter class.
The following spotter guides might cover some of the same things as the spotter class but the class is required to be offically certifed.
Contact your local meteorologist to find out when The next
class is and where it will be held. You can find out who to contact on the following link.
